On Saturday we arrived in Sines, a town on the central coast of Lisbon. It's best known for being the home of Vasco de Gama- he had his own castle there! In fact, we stopped by the castle for a nighttime Carnaval party.
After overindulging the night before, we woke up to this feast laid out for breakfast. Best hangover cure ever!
I think the best part of any vacation is the time spent just hanging out, having a beer (or water) and talking with friends, especially in a small town where everyone seems to know each other, and everyone wants to stop by and say hello.
