Sweden

In February, I traveled to Sweden with my dear friend Monika. It was a journey of firsts for both of us. First time in Scandinavia, first time couchsurfing, and, strangely enough, even though we grew up roadtripping along with our parents, out first time traveling in Europe together.

Traveling in winter has its advantages. Normally packed attractions, like the museums and the Skansen, were almost empty. We liked it that way.

Skansen is an idyllic, somewhat silly Swedish-village paradise. It provided lots of giggles and eye candy.
