Around Town

Nyon is the town closest to me in Switzerland. It is there that I go to catch the train, do my shopping, and enjoy the bustling nightlife. (Take with a grain of salt, please.)

I realized that I don't give Nyon the credit that it deserves. I mean, it's on gd Lake Geneva! In one of the most beautiful places in the world! And in the halcyon days of early Spring it has emerged from the doom and gloom of Swiss winter and has show me its true, er, glory (salt still applies).

There is a fantastic, storybook castle/ teenage make-out point.

And some original Roman ruins.

All in all, a lovely place to spend a lazy weekday afternoon.
